My favorite dishes: beef brisket, pork ribs, beef rib mac and cheese
A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of trying the all-new Smokebox Fumoir & BBQ in the West Island, as their guest! As the name suggests, Smokebox serves up some amazing smoked meats like pork ribs, beef brisket and chicken. They also have a killer beef rib mac and cheese and original sides. Smokebox is located in the West Island in Pierrefonds, on Saint-Jean just before you hit Boulevard Pierrefonds. Here are the dishes we got to try:
- Platter for 2 featuring: BBQ chicken, pork ribs, beef brisket and two slides (pasta salad and coleslaw)
- Beef rib mac and cheese
We enjoyed an excellent meal and I truly loved my discovery of Smokebox (which I can’t say about all the places I try). If you love BBQ and meat, Smokebox is a must try and definitely worth the drive to the West Island. Everything was excellent, from the meats to the side dishes and the sauces. My personal favorites were the beef brisket, pork ribs and beef rib mac and cheese. Both the brisket and ribs were super flavourful, perfectly seasoned, juicy and oh so smokey. I’ve had poorly executed BBQ before and this was on the complete opposite spectrum of things. Just soo good.
I’m also a big pasta person, so I had to try the mac and cheese too. The mac and cheese was was very good, especially topped with a giant beef rib. The meat was fall off the bone and so delicious.
