My favorite dish: chicken brochettes
This week, I had the pleasure of trying Al Quds Grillades as their guest! Al Quds Grillades is located on Boulevard Gouin West in the West Island’s Roxoboro neighborhood and serves up delicious grilled meats, salads and sandwiches. We got to sample a bit of everything, through a mixed grill platter and it was fabulous. Everything on that platter was very well cooked, perfectly charred and wonderfully seasoned. I especially liked the two chicken brochettes, as they were so tasty and juicy. The filet mignon was also very tasty, but I prefer my beef on the medium-rare side of things, so for me the cook was overdone. The lamb kefta wsa very nice too and I really liked the spices. The chicken wings were some of the best that I’ve ever had and that spicy sauce was divine. The lamb chops were quite nice too, but a little too gamey for me. The platter also came with everything you needed to accompany all of this meat: hummus, garlic sauce, spicy pita bread, fragrant rice, steak fries and a fresh salad full of vegetables.
If you’re in the West Island and love some good grilled meats, you must try Al Quds Grillades! If I still lived in the West Island, I would definitely be back for some more asap.
